Kara has the education & experience to get me through fear

Kara has the education, experience and ability to recognise and clearly communicate my strengths and drivers and pinpoint what was holding me back so I could move past it.I came to her needing to know what to do with the fearful thoughts and how to change my mindsetI have tried engaging with other "business consultants" but could not connect with them due to their lack of credibility due to little or no relatable experience or education or lack of understanding of my background, industry and environment where as Kara has it allKara gets to the issue very quickly using her psychology education, every idea, roadblock and decision all comes from our own psychology and Kara has the keys to unlock the doors and connect with you and your potential clients. Kara is direct and yet extremely warm genuine and honest and really does have the education, insight and experience that makes you want to listen and act .

We got a lot out of the session

Hi Kara, Thank you so much for your Psychology Hacks for Social Media session at conference. We had some great feedback from attendees and I know I got a lot from the session myself. I’m currently reviewing my social media strategy so the session came at the perfect time.

Enjoyed learning about social media for the first time

Being an older gal, I was not expecting to enjoy your presentation as much as I did. But, it was fantastic. Thank you.

Accountability. She keeps you on track and kicks ass if you don't. I needed that extra push in the right direction.Too many challenges and there will always be more. I am confident that Kara can and will help with them all.I had paid soooooo much money for business coaching years ago resulting in uneducated non business owners dictating their point on wasting more money in theories that didn't work or I couldn't afford to even begin doing what they taught. I paid a heap for SEO to 3-4 different companies promising the world and each time was the same answer "SEO is a long game" yes it is but seeing no results in Australia not overseas was frustrating as. PPC was the same with a lot of money spent with minimal results or if any seemed to be attracting tyre kickers.Kara is awesome and actually cares about your business and its results but at the same time understands life pressures and hurdles in day to day life which is great!

Valuable information on planning and posting engaging social media

Great session with Kara Lambert for Romance Writers Australia virtual conference. A session I will watch over and over again, for sure!I realised what the best times to engage on social media. I’m doing that part wrong. LOL. But I also need to plan and schedule more. I’m far too ad-hoc.

The power of people

Knowing very little about psychology or social media or marketing, Kara's workshop was incredibly eye-opening and I’ll definitely have to watch it again to get down EVERYTHING.The most important thing I took away is that you're engaging with people, not amorphous buyers of your product. I think this is something that's easy for authors to forget when there's the pressure of 'I have to sell this book!'

Kara went right back to basics with us as we were a start up business. She worked with us to make sure the foundations were set up in a way that gave us a platform to move forward in a productive way.We felt like we were failing ourselves and our business as we were so overwhelmed with working in the business knowing full well we should be dedicating sometime to working on the business. Kara talked us through how to set achievable goals, implement them and review them.If burying our heads in the sand equates to trying somethings else then - Yes we tried other things. We were a start up business with very little practical idea about operating a business. We had an idea about things we should be doing but no experience or real understanding of what should happen and when it should happen. Two words - Direction and accountability. Kara worked with us in the beginning to get an understanding of what we did, and how we went about it. She then guided us into more coherent way of operating, giving us the ability to set the goals we want to achieve, and following up on these, making us accountable for the decisions and goals we had made. She is teaching us how to grow as business owners and to be comfortable in our capabilities as we stretch ourselves and our mindsets. Kara is one of the most valuable assets in our business.

Kara helped my new blog find its feet

Kara, I looked at your post at around 2am. I couldn’t sleep after that! I had to get up and read through 2 or 3 links to other posts. 4 1/2 hours later I have written out my: Ideal Customer (that was the toughest one – to narrow it down!), My Core Values, My Mission Statement, My Vision, A sheet marrying my Mission and Vision Statements with my idea client.Thank you SO much for putting so much great information into just a few compact posts, with video links etc to help the process. It wasn’t all new to me, but it’s something that’s really easy to overlook and as my blog is new, I want to start as I mean to go on!I had to start blogging before I could create all of this as I was so out of my comfort zone when I began blogging and had no idea who my ideal client could even be or where I was heading directly. Now I’ve found my feet, this was really useful. I had my branding sorted and a business philosophy, to guide me, but getting this information committed to paper (I know I can refine it later) has been fun to do and also consolidating. Look forward to reading more of your blogs.
